Basic Policy for Proper Processing of Personal Information (Privacy Policy)

The Company complies with the Act on the Protection of Personal Information (“APPI”), and related cabinet orders, ministerial orders, guidelines, etc., with respect to processing of personal information.
- Purposes of Use
The Company will use the personal information it receives for the purposes described below:
(1) Personal information of business partners and persons other than the Company’s employees:
- Procedures for the payment of taxes and other public charges relating to compensations, fees, and contract payments;
- Provision of mid-summer gifts, year-end gifts and other gifts;
- Delivery of company newsletters;
- Introduction of events organized by the Company;
- Preparation of documents concerning competence in the environmental management system; and
- With respect to personal information of job applicants, the recruitment selection process and relevant administrative communication.
(2) Personal information of the Company’s employees
The relevant purposes of use are disclosed to the Company’s employees through the Company’s intranet.
- Matters concerning Security Management Measures
The Company separately provides and complies with the “Rules for Processing of Personal Information” in order to appropriately manage personal data, including prevention of any leakage, loss or damage of personal data.
- Entrustment of Processing
The Company may entrust third parties with processing of personal information. In such case, the Company will exercise the necessary and appropriate supervision over the entrusted parties in accordance with the APPI.
- Continuous Improvement
The Company exerts its efforts to make continuous improvements in processing of personal information.
- Disclosure of Retained Personal Data
When the Company has received a request for disclosure of personal data retained by it from the relevant data subject or an agent of such data subject, the Company will reply to such request without delay, except for the following cases:
- Such disclosure is likely to harm the life, body, property or any other right or interest of the data subject or any third party;
- Such disclosure is likely to seriously interfere with the proper implementation of our business operations; and
- Such disclosure would violate any law or regulation.
